Since the advent of the PC, quality in design has continued to drop.

Anyone with a home computer and a cheap "layout" program — armed with a free library of cheesy clip art — can call themselves a "designer" and begin filling the world with inefficient and bad design.

Specifications

Currently, Lucky13Studios is open to accepting the following work on a limited and negotiated basis:

• page layout, ie, book, flyer and brochure design. Finished pieces may be made available in PDF, Quark or InDesign format.

•  photo manipulation / photography — created through Adobe PhotoShop. Photography created in-house is achieved using a Canon Rebel series digital camera and iPhoto photo management.

• digital illustrations — from simple to highly elaborate, Lucky13Studios is capable of creating high-quality art through Adobe Illustrator.

• Many projects call for a combination of all design and software disciplines.
